Revolve: Our community documentary screening

REVOLVE was our first community documentary screening, hosted on Saturday night in South London, and showing subjects ranging from the movement of grass, the stories of a mechanic, and portraits from Blackburn society, to the relationship between moths, light and our saturated cityscapes - and thus exploring styles that went from the purely observational to the direct and the associative, or even dissociative.

The idea was to bring together filmmakers - sometimes a disparate group - to build a sense of camaraderie, and just watch and discuss interesting films in a relaxed setting that mixed analysis with irreverent conversation, before flowing into the party that followed.
